Situated in a very quiet tree lined cul-de-sac with a level safe car park, the Sandpiper is but a short walk from the Town Centre, Torre Abbey Gardens, the Seafront and the Riviera Conference and Leisure Centre, with all the latest in water fun as well as seasonal evening entertainment.

Follow the A3022 signs to Torquay, turning right at the traffic lights, opposite Torre Station, where it is signposted, the Seafront. This is Avenue Road, carry straight on through the first set of traffic lights, and take the first left into Bampflyde Road. Then take the next left into Rowdens Road to the Sandpiper and a warm welcome. We have a large car park in front of the hotel.

Miles of walks including the South West Coastal Path, Dartmoor and river walks.

Many nearby, Torquay and Paignton are just two of some of the best in the West Country
Fishing and Sailing
Plenty of opportunities, both sea and freshwater in nearby Stoke Gabriel, Totnes and up river in the Dart on Dartmoor.
Exploring
Try wandering around Torquay harbourside, the shops of Torquay's Fleet Walk shopping precinct, the Pavilion and much much more.
Visiting Cockington traditional English village is a must for any visit to Torquay.
Torquay has Kents Cavern and a large model village at Babbacombe among many other attractions and places to visit
There is a go kart track on the way to the delightful fishing port of Brixham.
In Paignton there is Quay West Water Park, Paignton Zoo, Oldway Mansion and Steam Railway trips to Kingswear and across the ferry to Dartmouth.
Going further afield, you can ramble across the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, see the Dartmoor Ponies, visit places of interest such as Widdecombe in the Moor.
Torbay and its environs also offers a rich diversity of places to eat out, theme bars and Nightclubs to suit all tastes.

Totnes and Dartington Hall are less than 30 minutes away.
Totnes is an Elizabethan river town with an ancient castle. The beauty of Dartington Hall with it's glorious gardens and world famous arts and music activities makes this an essential place to visit.
Dartmouth, Dartmoor, Salcombe, Exeter and Plymouth can all be reached easily.
